It’s that time again, time to design another project. This, the final one of our first term, is HTML5. Obviously, it’s not exactly a ground-breaking technology in terms of coding something awesome but we need to show we can adapt to new standards. What better way to do that than to make something I can showcase my other work on. Win win, no?
That may sound like a TV show on one of those obscure digital channels, but no, the one and only third year IMP Rob Hawkes gave us a little glimpse into how his mind works in terms of the HTML5 Canvas element.
Next on the “Oh, blimey, how does that work?” is the point scoring system currently going on within Gravitum. By the time you’re reading this, it may have changed entirely, but this is how it’s currently implemented. I dare say there’s a more recent one than this if it has changed, so if there isn’t, it hasn’t. Excellent.
If you haven’t already noticed, there’s now a working version of Gravitum out in the ether. It’s evolved from what was codenamed The Sun Game (back when it well, involved a sun…) into an atom-based game where you collect the good electrons and avoid the bad ones.
