My first Kinect app

Let me get this out from the off – I am not a software developer. I’m an Interactive Media Producer which means… a lot of things. But what I’m used to is developing for the web. Your HTMLs, your JavaScripts, your PHPs. This C# malarkey is alien to me.

Why are there no hard-hitting Kinect games?

Kinectimals. EA Sports Active 2. Dance Masters. There’s a bunch of games available for Kinect at launch, but nothing that made a massive furore in the gaming market. There’s no stand out Modern Warfare- or Fable-type game out there at the moment and there’s probably a good reason for that rather than just because it’s not had a chance to yet.

It’s been a while since anything was posted here, for which I can only apologise. I’ve been busy partly enjoying this quote-unquote summer we’ve been having and also working on a project I can’t really disclose any details of right now.
